Standing with Chocó in the Wake of Tragedy
Following the devastating 7.5 magnitude earthquake that struck the heart of Chocó, thousands of families have been left in urgent need of support. In times like these, showing up for one another is everything.
While the immediate need on the ground is for medical supplies and food, our geographical distance makes direct financial support the fastest and most effective way we can help right now. To ensure aid goes where it is needed most, we have partnered with the Moreno-Lloreda family to send direct relief to the City of Quibdó.
Our efforts are focused specifically on El Piñal and Barrio Medrano two of the hardest-hit neighborhoods, and the place the Moreno-Lloreda family calls home.

What began in a small home kitchen in Texas and we have grown into a dedicated chocolate brand built on integrity and tradition, reflecting our rich history. We proudly import our cacao directly from the Rentería family farm in Munguidó, Chocó, Colombia one of the most biodiverse regions in the world, home to approximately 5,000 vascular plant species, 900 bird species, and over 200 amphibian and 200 mammal species. This ensures a transparent and meaningful connection to the land and the people who cultivate it. By honoring these roots, we bring forward not only the rich flavors of ceremonial cacao but also the cultural legacy it carries. At Abo Xi Cacao, every product in our chocolate collection is created with care, respect, and a commitment to quality. Our mission is simple: to share chocolate that nourishes the body, uplifts the spirit, and tells a story of origin in every bite, showcasing the essence of pure cacao.
